2nd Shift Painter (Powder Coat)
Shift: Monday-Thursday 3:30pm-1:30am Pay: $18/hr-$20/hr+$2/hr Shift Differential This position may need to train on 1st shift.
Job Purpose
Support the Paint Line Team by applying high‑quality powder coating using cone, disk, or nozzle‑type industrial equipment. You may rotate between stations as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Start and adjust conveyor and spray equipment.
- Set paint pressure and flow; monitor gauges.
- Hang parts as they come off the line.
- Inspect parts for paint quality (runs, sags, missed areas).
- Adjust spray patterns to correct coating issues.
- Clean paint booths, hooks, grids, and spray equipment.
- Hand‑spray parts for touch‑ups or rust prevention.
- Mix paint per specifications and adjust consistency.
- Follow SDS and safety requirements.
- Complete other assigned tasks.
Education
High school diploma or GED preferred (not required)
