About the Role
The Gill Corporation is seeking a Packer/Shipper I to construct pallets, label and pack panels and cores for shipping. The role requires 1-2 years of related experience, ability to lift 50 lbs, and use tools like saws and nail guns.

Responsibilities
- Assembles wooden skids using tools, wood product and other materials according to required packaging codes
- Completes product count and ensures type and quantity conforms to internal pack list
- Generate shipping labels for packages; must be accurate and validate or verify data prior to labels
- Packs finished product into boxes or drums, using strapping or tape; applies labels for shipping
- Must be able to use tools such as bench saw, table saw, hammer, nails, nail gun, staple gun, glue gun, and steel strapping
- Must know how to read and follow internal shipping instructions, make stamps or labels have knowledge of company products
- Must be available to work any shift, over time and weekends
- Must keep product and all work areas neat and clean
- Performs other duties as assigned

- Sufficient English skills – must be able to read and understand all company documents
- Company ERP system and Basic PC Skills
- 1 2 years of related experience and/or training
- Must be able to lift, push and pull a minimum of 50 lbs
- Must be able to demonstrate math proficiency
- Must be available to work any shift, overtime and weekends

Required Qualifications

- Must be able to demonstrate math proficiency equal to or greater than required for the position applied
- Must be available to work the shift specified by the position and be flexible to potential overtime on weekends/ holidays
