Job description

Responsibilities include but are not limited to

• Operate packaging equipment in safe and efficient manner while focusing on quality
• Following SOP’s
• Perform quality control checks on finished product and bright beer tanks.
• Accurately document QC checks.
• Accurately reporting of production quantities and results.
• Bottling line operations, preparations, cleanup and shutdown.
• Canning line operations, preparations, cleanup and shutdown.
• Kegging line operations, preparations, cleanup and shutdown.
• Forklift operations.
• Maintain equipment in a clean sanitary manner.
• Preventative maintenance on packaging equipment.
• Tracking raw materials throughout a packaging run
• Cross training teammates
• Communicate effectively and work well with other departments
• Must be willing to help where needed to maintain a positive work flow
• Eager to learn and assist in all aspects of cellaring, packaging, yeast handling, filtering, cleaning and sanitizing, with the ability to grow a strong plus
• Achieve department goals for safety, quality, efficiency and Cost.
• Tasting panel work as needed.

Requirements

• Must be able to lift 55lbs.
• Must be able to safely move 165lbs repeatedly.
• Troubleshooting skills sufficient to diagnose and correct small mechanical issues.
• Detail driven with strong documenting skills.
• Team player and interpersonal skills.
• Work in a loud, wet environment in hot and cold conditions.
• Be able to stand 8-10hrs per shift.
• Flexibility to work irregular hours.
• Work safely around hazardous materials and forklifts.
• Warehouse and/or packaging experience is a plus.
