Packaging Machine Operator - 2nd Shift

We are currently seeking a candidate for the 2nd Shift Packaging Machine Operator role in our Jessup, MD facility.

The Production Operator is responsible for working in a safe, efficient manner to maximize production and shipping of products and raw material.

• PRODUCTION Operate baler in a safe and efficient manner producing packaged materials for our customers Confer with shift supervisor and follows through with assigned work duties Assist in cleaning up work area

• SHIPPING May operate forklift in a safe and efficient manner while loading trucks with packaged material May also be required to load AWF and customer trailers May be asked to complete paperwork for shipping Perform inspection of product and rework damaged or non-conforming product as needed

• QUALITY Maintain and verify that all current quality assurance measures are being followed and communicated to supervisors, production employees, truck drivers, office personnel, and customers Assist in the design and implementation of new procedures as needed
