Responsibilities
- Design and prepare artwork for printed packaging (boxes, labels, paper bags)
- Create print ready files with proper CMYK, bleed, trim, and color separation
- Work with dielines to ensure accuracy for each packaging shape
- Prepare artwork for foiling, embossing, and debossing blocks
- Set up films and artwork for Spot UV
- Perform prepress checks to ensure artwork accuracy before printing
- Coordinate with press operators and production team
- Adjust client supplied artwork to fit packaging and press requirements
- Ensure designs follow brand guidelines and client expectations
- Provide design advice that works well for printed packaging
- Check colors and proofs to achieve best print quality
- Handle multiple jobs simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
Requirements
- 1 2 years of experience in packaging design
- Proficiency in print ready file preparation (CMYK, bleed, trim, color separation)
- Experience with dielines and packaging shapes
- Knowledge of foiling, embossing, debossing, and Spot UV processes
- Ability to handle multiple jobs and meet tight deadlines
