- Develop, implement, and monitor workplace health and safety policies and procedures
- Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments to identify hazards
- Ensure compliance with local health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and recommend corrective actions
- Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, and training programs for employees and contractors
- Monitor the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensure proper safety practices
- Maintain accurate safety records, reports, and documentation
- Prepare emergency response plans and coordinate emergency drills
- Monitor workplace conditions and recommend improvements to eliminate or reduce risks
