Role Overview
The Security Guard observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site.
The role protects client property and personnel while preserving order and enforcing site rules.
Specific duties may vary by assignment, and additional duties may be assigned according to business needs.
Security Duties
- Conduct periodic patrols to identify irregularities and inspect protection devices and fire-control equipment.
- Control access to the client site through the admittance process.
- Patrol on foot or in a vehicle and check for hazards, unlocked doors, blocked entrances, mechanical problems, violations, and unauthorized persons.
- Protect evidence or incident scenes after accidents, emergencies, or security investigations.
- Prepare required logs and reports.
Emergency Response
- Respond to fires, medical emergencies, bomb threats, flooding, water discharge, elevator emergencies, hazardous materials, severe weather, and other incidents.
- Preserve order and enforce applicable regulations and directives for personnel, visitors, and premises.
