Overhead crane operator (Evening Shift)

AGF is seeking an overhead crane operator for the evening shift (14:00 pm to 22:30 pm) at our Kitchener shop.

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating the bending machine that bends rebar, ensuring precision and efficiency in the manufacturing process.

What we offer :

• Salary starting at $21.34/hour with salary increases based on months worked ( $23.58/hour after 3-12 months, $25.96/hour after 12-24 months, $26.95/hour after 25-35 months, and $28.27/hour after 36+ months).
• Evening premium of $1.00/h, if applicable for this position;
• An additional premium of $1/hr applies to the Overhead Crane Operator position;

About the Role - Your main responsibilities will include:

• Operate mobile and tower cranes to lift, move, position, or place rebar within the production plant facility;
• Calculate crane capacity and weight to prepare for rigging and hoisting;
• Perform routine maintenance work, such as cleaning and lubricating cranes;
• Demonstrate strong safety awareness by always wearing personal protective equipment, performing duties in a safe manner, and continually maintaining a clean and safe work area;
