What You Will Do
- Review and analyze patient medical records to accurately code diagnostic and procedural information.
- Abstract relevant data from medical records to support research, patient care evaluation, and administrative decisions.
- Ensure compliance with coding guidelines, third-party reimbursement policies, and accreditation standards.
- Optimize reimbursement by applying established coding principles and procedures.
- Promote provider/patient continuity through precise and timely coding practices.
