Seeking a Registered Dietitian to provide nutrition counseling in an outpatient setting.

This dietitian must be highly organized and able to work both independently and as a collaborative member of the team.

Should have knowledge in motivational interviewing, enjoy working with clients, and have a passion for nutrition.

We are currently seeking a specialist with experience in the following areas:

• Weight Management
• GI Disorders
• Diabetes
• Heart Disease

A minimum of 16 hours available in the office on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

Optional to add Tuesday and Thursday for remote/work from home.

• Perform nutritional assessments and ongoing medical nutrition therapy/counseling for clients with active eating disorders in individual sessions
• Be familiar with various evidence-based treatment options, and be able to make appropriate referrals as needed
• Stay on top of relevant research and best practices
• Collaborate with an outpatient team of providers (doctors, therapists, etc.)
• Perform various administrative duties (chart notes, client & provider communication, etc.) - basic computer skills required
• Other tasks assigned by supervisor.

Minimum qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years as a Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN)
• Strong knowledge of counseling techniques such as motivational interviewing and cognitive behavior therapy

• Flexibility with scheduling
• Basic computer skills
• Highly-organized
• Can work independently
