As an Operational Technology (OT) Engineer at Springfields Fuels Ltd, you will help maintain and improve the industrial control systems (ICS) that underpin our nuclear fuel manufacturing operations.
Working at the intersection of engineering and cyber security, you will support, designing, and enhancing PLC, DCS, HMI, and SCADA systems across the site. Your work will ensure that these systems operate safely, securely, and in compliance with regulatory standards set by the Office for Nuclear Regulation (ONR) and the NIS Regulations .
You will report to OT Systems Lead / Engineering Manager. Hybrid working available.
Control System Maintenance and Support
Maintain operational control systems (PLCs, DCS, HMIs, and SCADA) across the site's production facilities.
Resolve system faults to ensure reliable, operation.
Conduct preventive maintenance and implement system upgrades to improve performance and reliability.
Collaborate with vendors, integrators, and suppliers for hardware/software support and lifecycle management.
System Design, Integration & Change Control
Contribute to the design, development, and modification of OT systems following site engineering and safety standards.
Maintain accurate documentation, including system drawings, configuration records, and change logs.
