Core Responsibilities And Duties
- **Diagnosis & Planning:** Examine patients using X-rays, photos, and dental impressions to diagnose malocclusions (misaligned teeth) and jaw issues.
- **Treatment Application:** Fit and install braces, aligners (e.g., Invisalign), retainers, expanders, and other functional appliances.
- **Adjustments & Monitoring:** Conduct regular, ongoing checkups to adjust wiring, tighten appliances, and track teeth movement.
- **Patient Education:** Instruct patients on proper oral hygiene, appliance maintenance, and dietary restrictions to ensure treatment success.
- **Documentation & Safety:** Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records and adhere to safety and sterilization regulations.
- **Collaboration:** Work with general dentists and oral surgeons to coordinate comprehensive care.
