ROLE DESCRIPTION
Reporting to the S&OP Manager, the Order Coordinator plays a key role in transforming customer requirements into achievable production plans. The incumbent is responsible for managing and maintaining the integrity of orders within the ERP system, from order entry through production release, while ensuring data accuracy and adherence to deadlines. Working closely with Customer Service, Planning, Procurement, and Production teams, the Order Coordinator actively contributes to customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
MAIN DUTIES
- Enter customer orders and forecasts into the system.
- Create production orders from customer purchase orders received in the system and ensure their sequencing and scheduling.
- Act as a key resource for complex or non-standard orders, ensuring compliance with established rules and processes.
- Maintain the integrity of order-related data, including quantities, delivery dates, and conditions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve order-related issues and ensure the efficient execution of production plans.
- Perform any other related duties in support of Planning, Procurement, and Client Service operations.
QUALIFICATIONS
- College diploma (DEC) in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field ;
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment;
- Experience with an ERP system (AS400 or equivalent) considered a significant asset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office suite
- Bilingual in French and English.
- Bilingualism is required to communicate with certain members of the team and to understand customers’ technical documentation, primarily in English.
