- Obtain and interpret medical, dental and psychosocial history
- Conduct examination and order radiographs as needed
- Prescribe medication as needed
- Perform complex extractions and cyst removal under local/general anesthesia
- Treat TMD and orofacial pain
- Surgically place dental implants and perform associated augmentation
- Provide emergency treatment and be first responder for on call ER cases
- Comply with JCIA/CBAHI accreditation standards
- Apply infection control measures
- Direct and advise junior staff on patient management
- Participate in training and teaching of interns, junior staff, and residents
- Lead patient centered care initiatives
