Key Responsibilities

• Create conceptual, logical, and physical data models for relational and non-relational databases.
• Convert complex business needs into technical data requirements and structures.
• Create Source to target mappings, maintain data models, data dictionaries, and metadata repositories.
• Identify and resolve database performance bottlenecks.
• Liaise with ETL developers, data architects, and stakeholders to ensure data integrity.
• Implement data standards, security, and quality principles.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in any Data modeling tool like Erwin Data Modeler, ER/Studio, or IBM InfoSphere Data Architect.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MS SQL Server, or Oracle for Data analysis.
• Familiarity with ETL processes to map data flows.
• Expertise in normalization, denormalization, and Data Vault 2.0.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently as a Subject Matter Expert.
