Responsibilities
- Provision and configure OCI resources including Compute, Storage, VCN, Load Balancer, DBCS, and Autonomous Database.
- Implement and manage OCI networking components such as VCNs, subnets, NSGs, route tables, gateways, VPNs, FastConnect, and DNS.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / OCI Resource Manager) modules.
- Automate operational tasks using Python, Bash, Ansible, and cloud native tools.
- Support CI/CD deployments using OCI DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
- Monitor cloud environments using OCI Monitoring, Logging, APM, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, or Dynatrace.
- Perform routine operations including patching, backups, certificate renewals, capacity checks, and incident resolution.
- Implement cloud security controls including IAM policies, MFA, Vault/KMS, encryption, Bastion, Cloud Guard, Security Zones, and Vulnerability Scanning.
- Support cloud migration and modernization initiatives to OCI.
- Assist application teams deploying workloads on OKE, WebLogic, Oracle DB, Functions, and API Gateway.
- Contribute to cost optimization, automation, and operational documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field
- 3–6 years of hands on cloud/platform engineering experience
- Minimum 2 years of OCI experience (or strong cloud experience with demonstrable OCI exposure)
- At least one OCI Associate certification (e.g., OCI Foundations Associate, OCI Architect Associate, or OCI Operations Associate)
- Experience supporting production environments, incident management, and change management

Role Overview

- DevOps & Automation: Terraform (modules, workspaces, remote state), Ansible, Docker & Kubernetes, Helm, Git & GitOps.
- CI/CD: OCI DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps.
- Scripting: Python, Bash, PowerShell (basic awareness acceptable).
- Secondary Cloud (Preferred): AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
- 3–6 years of hands on cloud/platform engineering experience.
- Minimum 2 years of OCI experience (or strong cloud experience with demonstrable OCI exposure).
- Experience supporting production environments, incident management, and change management.
Certifications Required
- At least one OCI Associate certification: OCI Foundations Associate (1Z0 1085), OCI Architect Associate (1Z0 1072), or OCI Operations Associate (1Z0 1067).
- Preferred: OCI Architect Professional, AWS SAA / Azure AZ 104 / GCP ACE, Terraform Associate, CKA, RHCSA / Oracle Linux Certification.
