Key skills for this role
We're a locally owned, independent opticians with a longstanding presence on Halstead High Street. Being independent means we can focus on what works for our patients rather than being tied to a particular manufacturer, product or way of working. Clinically, that means giving our Optometrists the time, technology and autonomy to deliver the standard of care they believe in. You'll have access to OCT technology, work with both private and NHS patients and see a varied caseload spanning comprehensive eye examinations, eye health, contact lenses and ongoing patient care.
You'll also be joining an experienced practice team with deep roots in the local community, some of our colleagues have been caring for generations of local families for decades. Our Halstead practice has previously been recognised for both Customer Care and Community Involvement, and Wardale Williams forms part of an award-winning group of independent opticians known for putting patient experience at the heart of what we do.
Our independence extends beyond the consulting room, we're free to provide enhanced services to suit our communities needs as well as hand selected eyewear from across the market, offering everything from accessible everyday styles through to brands including Ray-Ban, Tom Ford, MOSCOT, Michael Kors, Hackett, Silhouette and more. Our patients come to us for expert advice, but they stay with us because of the relationships they build with our team.
Alongside a rewarding clinical role, you'll also receive:
Your birthday off work as an additional day off
No Sundays or bank holidays
Free and regular CPD events
Healthcare cashback scheme
Retail discounts
Cycle to Work scheme
Support from an experienced practice team and wider network within the group
