The Options Control Analyst is responsible for executing critical operational controls across Monex's global structured FX options business, ensuring the accurate capture, validation, reconciliation, and lifecycle management of complex derivative transactions across Monex entities in the United States, Canada, Europe, the United Kingdom, and Singapore. This role serves as an independent operational control function within International Operations, acting as a formal four-eyes verification control over all option transactions entered into kACE (FENICS), with particular focus on structured products including Target Redemption Forwards (TARFs), barrier options, and other complex FX option structures. The role is responsible for first-level investigation of trade capture, reconciliation, and valuation discrepancies, ensuring timely identification, escalation, and resolution of exceptions, while enforcing globally consistent trade capture standards across all jurisdictions. In addition to daily control execution, this role plays a key part in operational enhancement initiatives across the options trade lifecycle, including trade capture workflows, client confirmation generation and delivery, mark-to-market reporting, and margin call notification processes.
This position reports directly to the International Head of Operations, with a longer-term reporting path into Treasury Operations leadership and opportunities for broader growth within Monex's global treasury and derivatives operations function.
All staff, including this role, are required to act in accordance with the Monex Code of Conduct as detailed in their contract of employment, the Employee Handbook, and related policies, including compliance with PIPEDA and applicable Canadian regulatory requirements for all client and employee data.
