Actively communicates with engineers, managers, and other technicians on process statuses, issues, and suggestions.
Performs other tasks directed by Management to satisfy company objectives.
Has working knowledge of hand tools, microscopes, oscilloscopes, vision systems, vacuum systems, assembly equipment, electronic equipment, and processing equipment.
Capable of working independently as well as within a cross-functional team of both engineers and technicians on both production and R&D.
Detail-oriented and a demonstrated background working with tight tolerance hardware.
Hands-on experience with one of the following preferred: lasers, mirrors/lenses/prisms, optical metrology, optical or electronics assembly, optical alignment, inertial navigation systems.
Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
Experience working with SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) required.
