Overview
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced
Consultant Ophthalmologist (General And Cataract)
to join a well-established healthcare facility in Abu Dhabi.
The successful candidate will provide high-quality, patient-centered ophthalmic care with a focus on general ophthalmology and cataract diagnosis, management, and surgery, in line with international best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive outpatient and inpatient ophthalmology services
- Diagnose and manage a wide range of general ophthalmic conditions
- Perform cataract surgeries and related procedures with a high standard of care
- Conduct pre-operative assessments and post-operative follow-up
- Interpret diagnostic tests and imaging related to eye health
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, clinical governance, and international quality standards
- Participate in clinical audits, continuous medical education, and quality improvement initiatives
- Educate patients and families on eye health, treatment plans, and preventive care
