- Specialist Board qualification in Ophthalmology or equivalent (American Board, FRCPS Canada, CCT UK, Facharzt Germany, FRANZCO Australia or NZ)
- Sub Specialty Certification or Fellowship in Pediatric Ophthalmology
- Minimum 3 5 years professional experience in Pediatric Ophthalmology
- Valid license to practice from country of origin
- Must qualify for Consultant Pediatric Ophthalmology with Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS)
- Life Support certification course
