Overview
We are inviting a **licensed** **Specialist Ophthalmologist** to associate with our medical center.
The consultant will practice independently while utilizing the medical center’s infrastructure, facilities, and support services.
Scope Of Services & Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive ophthalmic consultations and eye examinations
- Diagnose and manage common eye conditions including refractive errors, infections, glaucoma, cataract screening, diabetic eye disease, and other ocular disorders
- Prescribe medications, corrective lenses, and treatment plans as clinically indicated
- Perform minor ophthalmic procedures as permitted under DHA regulations
- Maintain proper medical records, ICD coding, and insurance documentation
- Ensure compliance with DHA guidelines, ethical medical practice, and patient safety standards
- Coordinate referrals for surgical or advanced ophthalmic care when required
Eligibility & Requirements
- MBBS with specialization in Ophthalmology
- **Valid DHA License / Eligibility** to practice in UAE
- **Own valid UAE visa (mandatory)**
- Minimum experience as per DHA regulations
- Good communication skills and patient-centric approach
Engagement Terms
- Medical center will provide consultation room, basic equipment, nursing/support staff, and administrative assistance
- Consultant will manage professional indemnity as per regulatory requirements
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED3,500.00 per month
Expected hours: 3 – 6 per week
