Join a 2026 AFR BOSS Best Places to Work Gold Winner and 2026 Sustainability Champion recognised by the World Steel Association. ARC is expanding, and we are looking for permanent full-time Machine Operators to join our Hemmant team. In this hands-on role, you will use specialised machinery to bend and process reinforcing bar to customer specifications. You will work in an indoor environment where safety, quality and teamwork come first. What you will be doing: Operating machinery to bend and process reinforcing bar to customer specifications Setting up equipment, monitoring production and completing quality checks Using overhead cranes to safely move bundles of steel and finished components Loading and unloading trucks using overhead cranes Preparing completed products for despatch Working safely as part of a supportive production team Shift options: Day shift 5am to 1pm or afternoon shift 1pm to 9pm. Afternoon shift attracts a 20% shift loading.
