We are seeking a Production Operator II to join our team at our Chask, MN bakery.
As a Production Operator II , you will be accountable for operating and monitoring production and packaging equipment to support safe, efficient, and high-quality food manufacturing operations.
This role plays a critical part in maintaining product quality standards, ensuring food safety compliance, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the bakery.
Shift & Schedule Shift : 2nd Shift Hours: 2:45 PM – 11:00 PM Weekend Availability: Required Compensation Hourly Rate: $21.92 - $22.50 Core Accountabilities (What You’ll Be Doing) Operate automated production and packaging equipment to support efficient manufacturing operations.
Monitor and adjust equipment settings to maintain product quality and food safety standards.
Ensure compliance with GMP, safety, and sanitation requirements throughout the production process.
Support preventive maintenance activities and identify equipment issues requiring corrective action.
Maintain production readiness by ensuring materials and supplies are available when needed.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and product quality.
Collaborate across production areas to support overall bakery performance and productivity.
Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table) High school diploma, GED, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during scheduled shifts.
Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
Ability to work in hot, cold, wet, and noisy manufacturing environments.
Ability to follow safety procedures, GMP requirements, and standard operating instructions.
Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to learn production equipment operation.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients for Success) High school diploma or GED.
Previous manufacturing experience.
Food manufacturing or food processing experience.
