As an Operations Transformation Intern, you’ll assist clients with developing and implementing operations modernization and improvement initiatives for the Operations Transformation Practice – all with the resources, environment, and support to help you excel.
From day one, you’ll be empowered by the greater Operations team to help clients make the moves that will help them achieve their vision and help you achieve more, confidently.
Your day-to-day may include:
Aid cross-functional teams in the delivery of major transformation initiatives within the realms of operational efficiency programs, digital operations management solutions, product and operations modernization programs incorporating business opportunity assessment, solution strategy, design, program management, implementation of enabling technologies, and organizational change
Create, interpret, and transform data and analytics into actionable performance insights
Maintain a good working relationship with clients and internal team members at all levels to manage expectations, ensure satisfaction, and become a trusted business partner
Manage and minimize engagement delivery risk by proactively identifying issues and recommended courses of remediation to engagement teams
Communicate (verbally and in writing) externally with clients and internally with all levels of the organization to successfully accomplish objectives while portraying knowledge and confidence
Communicate findings and recommendations clearly and effectively to internal teams and client stakeholders
You have the following technical skills, qualifications, and abilities:
Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering or related fields
Minimum overall GPA of 3.0/4.0
Demonstrated interest in operational strategy, performance improvement, and business transformation
Demonstrated digital fluency through the effective use of technology, data, and basic AI technologies to enhance productivity and decision-making
Experience (through coursework, internships, or projects) with process mapping, data analysis, or operational assessments
Proven ability to work in teams and deliver against tight deadlines in dynamic environments; this may be demonstrated via university projects, internships, self-study, community building, or work experience
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present insights in a structured and compelling way
Intellectual curiosity, and motivation to develop professionally, including industry recognized professional certifications
Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as a member of a team
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to break down complex challenges
Ability to remain agile, work in ambiguous environments, “can-do” attitude
Positive, client-focused mindset
Willingness and ability to work additional hours, as needed
Ability to travel to various client sites, as needed
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
