Ensuring training programmes support NPI activities, process changes, automation, digitalisation and future manufacturing technologies.
Overseeing apprenticeship programmes, capability frameworks and leadership development initiatives.
Implementing innovative learning approaches including blended learning, digital learning, on-the-job training, simulation and competency assessments.
Monitoring training effectiveness, competency metrics and workforce capability trends to drive measurable improvements in performance.
Building strong partnerships with leaders, engineers, quality teams, HR, external providers and operational stakeholders to ensure training priorities align with business needs.
Maintaining robust governance, audit readiness, compliance and EH&S standards across all training activities.
Significant experience within a manufacturing, engineering or operational environment.
Proven experience leading training functions, workforce development programmes or technical learning teams.
Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations and the ability to translate business requirements into practical capability solutions.
Experience developing technical training programmes, competency frameworks and workforce capability strategies.
A track record of leading and developing high-performing teams and influencing stakeholders across multiple functions.
Excellent coaching, communication and relationship-building skills.
Experience driving continuous improvement and using data to make informed decisions.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, problem-solving methodologies and operational excellence principles.
Experience supporting large-scale change, transformation, NPI or workforce readiness initiatives.
