About the Role
Sembcorp Energy UK seeks an Operations Technician Level 2 to operate plant assets safely and efficiently. The role involves monitoring equipment, troubleshooting, first-line maintenance, and supporting shift operations.

Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor plant equipment safely and efficiently, making adjustments in line with operational procedures.
- Complete routine inspections, plant checks, sampling, testing, and first line maintenance activities.
- Analyse process data, identify faults, troubleshoot operational issues, and optimise plant performance.
- Isolate, prepare, and recommission plant equipment for maintenance activities in accordance with site procedures.
- Identify, report, and escalate safety, operational, and maintenance concerns, raising work requests through the CMMS as required.
- Maintain accurate operational records, including shift logs, handovers, data validation, and compliance documentation.
- Support site safety through housekeeping, audits, safety tours, emergency response activities, and permit to work processes.
- Provide guidance and support to Level 1 Technicians and assist with training and development of new operators.
- Build effective working relationships with colleagues, customers, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Maintain competence and flexibility across plant areas, ensuring all mandatory training and learning objectives are completed.

Purpose of Role
- Operate the Sembcorp Energy UK assets in a safe and efficient manner.
- Working as part of a shift operations team providing continuous plant operations to maximise gross margin.
- Maintain plant integrity and ensure reliable availability of supplies to customers.
Key Roles And Responsibilities
