The Operations Supervisor will ensure safe and efficient traffic throughput across warehouse sortation areas.
The role is physically active and based in a busy warehouse hub.
Contract and salary
- The contract type is permanent and the schedule is 45 hours.
- The advertised salary starts from £33,000.
Location and shift
- The position is located in Runcorn.
- The shift is nights, Monday to Friday, from 22:00 to 08:00.
What you’ll do
- Supervise and reconcile warehouse deliveries and Holdbay activity.
- Manage bulk and return deliveries with C&D and LGV fleets.
- Support bulk collection customer planning.
- Support LGV transport rules and regulations.
- Deploy operational resources according to work-area requirements.
- Ensure KPI targets are achieved or exceeded.
- Attend arranged training and personal development courses.
What we’re looking for
- At least 1 year of experience in a comparable or acting supervisory role.
- Knowledge of resource management and deployment.
- Excellent communication skills for providing, receiving, and implementing operational information and instructions.
- Good IT skills.
