Operations Supervisor

Manage the overall operations and is responsible for the effective and successful management of labor, productivity, quality control, and safety measures as established and set for the Operations Department. The Operations Supervisor will ensure safe and efficient operations; serve as a company representative on regulatory issues; enhance the operational procedures, systems, and principles in the areas of information flow and management, business processes, enhanced management reporting, and look for opportunities to expand systems; and carry out supervisory responsibilities of the company's policies and applicable laws.

Direct warehouse staff by selecting, orienting, and training employees. Supervise staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees. Scheduling and assigning workflow of warehouse personnel.

Maintain receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing processes and procedures to produce customer service excellence.

Ensure correct and timely handling of products within the established Vertical Cold Storage policies and procedures. Utilizing appropriate, defined practices to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Control inventory by conducting physical counts and reconciling with system software.

Supervise export compliance understanding processes and maintain documentation and communication between all affected personnel and customers. Validate accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with mandated guidelines.
