Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Foster a strong health and safety culture and ensure adherence to laws and internal policies.
• Oversee departmental tasks, conduct staff debriefs, and complete required paperwork accurately.
• Allocate staff tasks to maintain workflow and meet daily performance targets.
• Manage staffing levels, absences, call-outs, coaching, performance, and productivity.
• Support onboarding and training for new associates.
• Track, analyse, and report operational metrics and contributing factors.
• Monitor associate hours and schedules and resolve process-related issues.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of equipment defects.
• Perform duties in line with standard operating procedures.

Basic qualifications

• Ability to work a flexible schedule or shift, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 20 kg and stand or walk during shifts lasting up to 10 hours.
• Ability to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience managing teams.
• Experience with planning, performance metrics, and process improvement.

• Amazon Operations and Distribution operates 24/7, and shifts may change according to business needs.
