Operations Shift Manager

Proven experience leading teams within a warehouse, logistics or distribution environment, with the confidence to manage operational performance and people outcomes.

Strong understanding of warehouse operations, including labour planning, workflow management, service delivery and operational KPIs.

A strong commitment to health and safety, with the ability to identify risks, make decisions and maintain high standards across the operation.

Excellent communication and leadership skills, with experience coaching, developing and supporting team members to achieve their potential.

A proactive and solutions-focused approach, with the ability to make decisions under pressure and drive continuous improvement.

Leading and managing afternoon shift operations, ensuring safety, quality, service and productivity targets are achieved.

Managing and supporting Area Supervisors, providing clear direction, coaching and feedback to build capability and accountability.

Planning and optimising shift resources, including labour deployment, workflow priorities and operational activities.

Monitoring performance data, identifying improvement opportunities and taking action to resolve operational challenges.

Working closely with internal teams and transport partners to ensure smooth communication, effective problem-solving and excellent customer service.
