Operations Research Analyst

Manufacturing Responsibilities

• Model production flow through line balancing, bottleneck identification, changeover and sequencing analysis, and capacity modelling.
• Align factory output with downstream site demand and construction schedules through shop floor planning models.
• Optimize inventory policy, safety stock, supplier lead times, and material availability against the production schedule.
• Model factory-to-site logistics, including deliveries constrained by short Arctic transport windows.
• Run scenario and simulation analysis for capacity, investment, and factory expansion decisions.
• Move proven models into production tools with software and data teams.

Business Planning Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve the orderbook against production capacity and delivery commitments.
• Build the multi-year production profile linking lot inventory, sales absorption, factory output, and site construction schedules.
• Run scenarios involving absorption, capacity, product mix, and lot servicing timelines.
• Analyze actuals against plan and convert findings into planning adjustments.
• Contribute models to the integrated planning platform and coordinate inputs across business functions.

Compensation and Hours

• Compensation is listed as $95,000-$120,000.
• The stated schedule is 44 hours per week.

Workplace

• Both positions are fully in person and on site in Ottawa, Ontario.
