Introduction
IBM is seeking a motivated and organized Project Management Summer Intern for its Research organization.
The role provides hands-on experience in project management, business operations, and cross-functional collaboration.
The intern will help coordinate activities that enable researchers, leaders, and support teams to work effectively.
Your Role and Responsibilities
- Support planning, coordination, and execution of internal projects and operational initiatives.
- Maintain project plans, timelines, action-item trackers, and status reports.
- Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas and materials, document decisions, and track follow-up actions.
- Gather stakeholder information, identify dependencies, and help keep projects on track.
- Assist with process improvement and research operations efficiency initiatives.
- Analyze information to support operational and project-related decisions.
- Create presentations, dashboards, reports, and other project materials.
- Document business processes, workflows, and standard operating procedures.
- Support communications and change-management activities.
- Complete additional projects and operational assignments as organizational priorities require.
