Working within CDC's Operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing infrastructure and facilities-related projects within a live, operational environment to ensure they meet CDC requirements and deliver high-quality outcomes. This role supports project teams through the initiation, planning and execution phases by tracking progress and reporting outcomes. Serving as a key point of contact for stakeholders and contractors, you will collaborate with both operational and technical teams to achieve quality, safety and financial objectives.
Other responsibilities include:
Develop detailed project plans with defined milestones, deliverables, timelines and resource requirements.
Coordinate with key stakeholders, including operations, engineering, development and vendors, to ensure alignment with project objectives.
Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimise operational disruption.
Coordinate contractors and service providers, ensuring works are completed safely and in accordance with site requirements.
Monitor project progress, budgets and schedules, escalating issues where required.
Oversee the completion and handover of all project documentation, including as-built documentation, test reports, certificates and maintenance records.
Manage stakeholder communication by delivering regular updates, facilitating meetings/workshops and acting as a key liaison.
Ensure all project activities adhere to regulatory, safety and site policy requirements, promoting safe work practices at all times.

The ideal candidate is an experienced project professional with a background delivering facilities, infrastructure, building services or construction-related projects within an operational environment. You have experience coordinating multiple stakeholders, contractors and vendors, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and with minimal disruption to business operations. With a strong focus on communication, planning and problem-solving, you bring a practical and collaborative approach to project delivery and are comfortable balancing project administration with project execution.
Demonstrated experience managing commercial-scale project works within a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Solid understanding of electrical, HVAC, or communications project management - trade qualifications preferred.
Commercially focused in nature, with the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
A natural problem solver, combining an innovative work style with strong prioritisation and time management.
Experience coordinating facilities, infrastructure, construction or building services projects.
Ability to balance administrative elements of the role with the practical delivery and coordination requirements of project execution.
Australian citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain NV1 Security Clearance.
