Operations Process Engineer, Central Region

The role is ideal for someone with a university degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline, combined with a strong technical foundation in industrial operations You will bring approximately 5+ years of experience in engineering, production operations, or a similar industrial environment Experience with Air Separation Units (ASUs), industrial gas processes, and related equipment would be a strong asset and help you make an immediate impact The position requires strong time management and prioritization skills, with the ability to balance multiple high-impact initiatives while delivering results You will thrive in a collaborative environment, working effectively with a variety of stakeholders and cross-functional teams to solve complex operational challenges A solid understanding of P&IDs, electrical and instrumentation schematics, and field devices such as valves, analyzers, sensors, and PLCs is important for success in the role Strong technical knowledge of Process Safety Management principles, including PHA, MOC, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA), is essential to support safe and reliable plant operations The role is best suited for someone who is adaptable, positive, and relationship-focused, with strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively across departments You will be comfortable working independently as well as leading and participating in cross-functional teams, while maintaining a high level of attention to detail and accountability Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications is expected, and strong written, verbal, and presentation skills in both French and English would be a significant asset
