Operations Planning Manager

The Operations Planning Manager is a part-time, remote role responsible for coordinating and improving operational planning activities across assigned projects or business units.

In this position, the manager develops and maintains production and capacity plans, aligns schedules with demand forecasts, and ensures that resources are allocated effectively.

Daily tasks include analyzing operational data, identifying bottlenecks, proposing process improvements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams such as operations, finance, and procurement.

The role also involves preparing planning reports, monitoring performance against targets, and supporting leadership with clear recommendations to enhance efficiency and service levels.

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Operational Planning and Planning to design and maintain effective short- and long-term plans.
• Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret data, evaluate performance, and support evidence-based decision-making.
• Candidates should possess experience in Operations Management to coordinate workflows, optimize processes, and manage resource utilization.
• Candidates should possess expertise in Production Planning to align production schedules with demand forecasts and capacity constraints.
• Relevant experience in remote work, including self-management, time management, and effective virtual collaboration.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information clearly to stakeholders.
• Proficiency in planning and analytics tools (such as spreadsheets, dashboards, or ERP systems) is highly beneficial.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, operations management, supply chain, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
