Role overview
Support daily and long-term operational planning activities as an Operations Planning Assistant or Specialist.
Coordinate schedules, resources, data, and operational requirements to support efficient workflows and timely delivery of business objectives.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with operational plans, schedules, forecasts, and resource allocation based on business requirements.
- Collect, consolidate, and analyse operational data for planning and decision-making.
- Monitor workloads, capacity, inventory, staffing, and operational performance.
- Coordinate priorities and schedules with operations, supply chain, procurement, sales, finance, and other internal teams.
- Track plans and identify delays, resource gaps, capacity constraints, and potential risks.
- Prepare reports, dashboards, forecasts, and performance summaries.
- Maintain accurate planning records, databases, and documentation.
- Support KPI reviews, action-item follow-up, contingency planning, and corrective actions.
- Contribute to improved planning processes, data accuracy, resource utilisation, productivity, and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- A diploma or bachelor’s degree in operations management, supply chain management, business administration, logistics, engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.
