The Operations Shift Manager position plans, directs, and coordinates the operations team while overseeing the completion of production processes and procedures.

This includes maintaining a safe work environment, adhering to quality standards, and maximizing productivity.

The Shift Manager is responsible for manufacturing teams from processing through packaging for their shift.

• Reviews production orders or schedules to ascertain product data such as types, quantities and specifications of products and scheduled delivery dates in order to plan department operations.
• Plans production operations, establishing priorities and sequences for manufacturing products.
• Reviews production and operating reports and resolves operational, manufacturing and maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays.
• Be a leader in continuous improvement and with the input of the manufacturing team, identify opportunities and execute positive change on an ongoing basis.
