OPERATIONS MANAGER

Main Tasks

Requirements

• University degree in Engineering or relevant field of technical or business education and experience
• 5-8 years relevant work experience in the manufacturing industry
• Min 5 years supervisory or management experience required with the ability to impact and influence a team Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Microsoft Office Suite proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint), prior Sage, SAP or MRP experience
• Understanding of profit and loss calculations and basic business finance, e.g., gross margin percentages and calculations
• Self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook, and a clear focus on deliverables. Empathic communicator, able to see things from the other person's point of view
• Possess strategic thinking, planning, analytical and problem solving skills
• Must be able to work individually and in a team
• Knowledge of TS 16949 and ISO 14001 requirements
• Experience in mass production; improving existing production processes
• Strong understanding of safety requirements
• Bilingual English / Spanish a plus
• Must be able to read, understand and comply with written and verbal instructions, company processes and procedures and safety policies
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical equipment such as forklifts and other machinery. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.
