About the Opportunity
Programmed Facility Management is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead the delivery of our WA Housing maintenance contract across multiple regions.
In this pivotal leadership role, you will be responsible for driving operational performance, client satisfaction, safety outcomes and financial results across the contract. Leading a team of operational and administrative personnel, you will ensure maintenance and project works are delivered efficiently, compliantly and in line with contractual requirements.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide operational leadership across the contract, ensuring delivery of maintenance and project services in accordance with client and business objectives.
- Lead, coach and develop Area/Branch Managers and operational teams to achieve performance, safety and financial targets.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a key point of contact for operational and strategic matters.
- Drive service delivery performance, ensuring contractual KPIs and customer expectations are consistently achieved.
- Oversee contract profitability, budgets, forecasting and financial performance.
- Ensure effective management of subcontractors, suppliers and workforce resources.
- Champion a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all WHS, legislative and contractual requirements.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, operational efficiencies and business growth.
- Support tender submissions, pricing activities and contract development opportunities where required.
- Monitor and report on operational, commercial and customer performance outcomes.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will be an experienced operations leader with a proven track record of managing large-scale maintenance, facilities management, housing, construction or service delivery contracts.
You will also possess:
Demonstrated leadership experience managing multi-site operations and geographically dispersed teams.
Ability to establish a highly engaged workforce through effective communication, coaching and mentoring to achieve common goals.
Strong client relationship and stakeholder management skills.
Proven experience leading leaders, developing capability and driving performance outcomes.
Sound commercial acumen, including budget management, forecasting and contract performance.Experience managing subcontractors, service providers and operational delivery teams.
Strong knowledge of safety, compliance and risk management principles.
Excellent communication, negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
High levels of integrity, accountability and professionalism.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
Current Driver's Licence.
Highly Regarded
Trade qualification, building or property-related background.
Experience within social housing, facilities management, maintenance or construction environments.
Exposure to government contracts and service delivery frameworks.
Tertiary qualifications in Business, Management, Construction, Property or a related discipline.
