Responsibilities
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, including staff scheduling, floor supervision, and coordination between kitchen and front of house teams
- Monitor food quality and hygiene standards, enforcing safety and compliance protocols
- Maintain inventory levels for ingredients and supplies
- Manage vendor relationships and control operational costs
- Support budget and sales targets
- Coach and develop team members
- Handle guest feedback and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and customer experience
Requirements
- Experience in restaurant or hospitality operations management, with a strong understanding of front of house and back of house processes
- Proven ability to lead, train, and motivate diverse teams, with effective people management and conflict resolution skills
- Solid knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and health regulations, with a track record of maintaining high operational standards
- Strong organizational and time management skills, including experience with scheduling, inventory control, and cost management
- Customer focused mindset, with strong communication and problem solving abilities to address guest needs and feedback
- Comfort with basic restaurant systems and tools (POS, inventory software, spreadsheets) and data driven decision making
- Previous experience in a fast paced, high volume restaurant environment; experience with grilled or specialty concepts is an advantage
- Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent practical experience
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by restaurant operations
- Proficiency in English; proficiency in Arabic is a plus

Role Description
- The Operations Manager role at Nama is a full time, on site position based in Jeddah.
