About the Role
IW Express seeks an experienced Operations Manager to lead daily courier and last-mile delivery operations in the UAE. The role involves overseeing teams, optimizing routes, managing fleet utilization, and ensuring SLAs are met.

Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage daily courier, transportation, and last mile delivery operations
- Ensure service level agreements (SLAs) and delivery KPIs are consistently achieved
- Monitor operational performance and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs
- Lead and manage operations teams, including supervisors, dispatchers, drivers, and warehouse personnel
- Coordinate with internal departments such as Customer Service, Sales, Finance, and IT to ensure smooth operational execution
- Analyze operational data and prepare performance reports for management
- Manage fleet utilization, route optimization, and resource planning
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
- Handle escalations and resolve operational challenges in a timely manner
- Support business expansion initiatives and new service implementations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in courier, express, logistics, or e commerce operations
- At least 2 years in a managerial role
- Strong knowledge of last mile delivery operations, fleet management, and courier industry best practices
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Excellent analytical, problem solving, and decision making abilities
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with logistics management systems
