Workplace and Employment
- The position is full-time and on-site in Dubai, UAE.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day air, sea, and land freight operations.
- Oversee import, export, cross-trade, and time-critical shipments.
- Coordinate with airlines, shipping lines, overseas agents, transporters, and service providers.
- Monitor shipments from booking through final delivery and ensure proactive customer updates.
- Review operational costs, supplier rates, and job profitability.
- Ensure shipment documentation is complete and accurate.
- Coordinate customs clearance and UAE import/export requirements.
- Manage operational issues, delays, and exceptions before they escalate.
- Maintain high standards of customer service, accuracy, and response time.
What We're Looking For
- Strong freight forwarding operations experience in the UAE.
- Proven experience in air freight operations is essential.
- Proven experience in Dubai Airport Freezone is required.
- Good knowledge of import/export procedures, customs, and freight documentation.
- Experience managing or supervising an operations team.
- Strong relationships with carriers, agents, and logistics service providers are advantageous.
- Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
- Experience with freight or logistics systems and Microsoft Office.
- A bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain, business, or a related field is preferred.
