Role Overview
The Operations Manager, Compounding, is a vital role within our organization, reporting directly to the Head Compounding Pharmacist. This position is responsible for leading a team of compounding professionals and overseeing the daily operations of the compounding department. The successful candidate will ensure that all compounding activities are carried out in strict adherence to safety, quality, and productivity standards. This is a hands-on role that requires active engagement in labor management, workflow optimization, and continuous improvement projects. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to achieve operational goals and maintain a high-performing compounding team.
This role is based on site in our New Albany, Ohio facility.

About the Role:
The Operations Manager, Compounding, is a vital role within our organization, reporting directly to the Head Compounding Pharmacist. This position is responsible for leading a team of compounding professionals and overseeing the daily operations of the compounding department. The successful candidate will ensure that all compounding activities are carried out in strict adherence to safety, quality, and productivity standards. This is a hands-on role that requires active engagement in labor management, workflow optimization, and continuous improvement projects. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to achieve operational goals and maintain a high-performing compounding team.
This role is based on site in our New Albany, Ohio facility.
You Will:
Daily Operations Management: Plan, coordinate, and oversee daily production schedules, ensuring timely delivery of compounded products. Monitor progress, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to maintain optimal workflow.
Team Leadership: Lead and supervise a team of lab managers, pharmacy tech leads, and pharmacy technicians. Provide clear direction, set expectations, and foster a culture of collaboration and accountability. Conduct regular team meetings and 1:1 sessions to track performance, provide feedback, and address any concerns.
