Role Overview
Lead, optimize, and oversee end-to-end express delivery and hub operations.
Ensure effective first-mile, sorting, transportation, and last-mile operations while meeting service efficiency, safety, and KPI objectives.
Operational Management
- Manage pickup, sorting, transportation, and last-mile parcel delivery operations.
- Monitor branch and hub activities to meet operational targets and service-level agreements.
- Plan delivery routes and driver dispatch schedules to reduce transit times and costs.
Performance and Improvement
- Track On-Time Delivery, delivery success rate, cost-per-parcel, and other operational metrics.
- Reduce parcel damage, missing rates, and customer complaints through process improvement.
- Review operational efficiency and present reports to senior management.
Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and manage supervisors, sorting staff, couriers, and fleet personnel.
- Oversee manpower planning, shift schedules, peak-season resources, and recruitment needs.
- Foster a safe, high-performance, and accountable work environment.
Compliance
- Ensure compliance with company SOPs, safety policies, and local labor and transportation regulations.
- Enforce proof-of-delivery, parcel handling, and inventory control protocols.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Three to five or more years of experience in express delivery, last-mile logistics, e-commerce operations, or supply chain management.
- Experience managing large operational teams and multi-site hub operations.
- Proficiency in WMS/TMS, MS Excel, and operational data analytics.
- Strong problem-solving, high-stress work, and stakeholder communication skills.
- Fluency in English is required; Hindi, Urdu, or Arabic may be preferred depending on the regional market.
Compensation
- Monthly salary: SAR 5,118.82.
