Operations Manager

• Lead day-to-day operations across Manforce Trading.
• Establish clear responsibilities, KPIs, deadlines, and accountability for each team member.
• Conduct regular operational reviews and ensure agreed actions are completed on time.
• Identify operational risks, delays, manpower shortages, and service issues early and drive corrective action.
• Build a culture of ownership, urgency, discipline, and follow-through.
• Ensure operational issues are resolved at the appropriate level and escalated only when necessary.

• Build an efficient and scalable capability to mobilize and demobilize manpower according to client schedules.
• Coordinate manpower readiness, documentation, accommodation, transport, PPE, inductions, access requirements, and site deployment.
• Maintain visibility of manpower that is available, mobilizing, deployed, demobilizing, or idle.
• Manage replacements, transfers, absenteeism, emergency manpower requirements, and redeployment.
• Coordinate closely with client and site representatives to ensure reliable manpower delivery.
• Resolve operational complaints and site issues quickly while maintaining strong client relationships.
• Minimize idle manpower through effective deployment and redeployment planning.

• Oversee workforce accommodation, camp occupancy, cleanliness, maintenance, discipline, security, and welfare.
• Ensure accommodation capacity is aligned with current and upcoming workforce requirements.
• Establish regular camp inspection and issue-resolution processes.
• Ensure workforce welfare concerns are addressed promptly and appropriately.
• Manage transport planning between camps, sites, offices, medical centres, and other required locations.
• Improve route planning, vehicle utilization, punctuality, and transport cost efficiency.
• Maintain contingency arrangements for transport failures and urgent manpower movements.
• Ensure safety awareness and strict compliance including availability of PPE and tools required.

• Build and maintain a strong network of reliable

local manpower suppliers

• Maintain sufficient supplier depth to avoid dependency on individual vendors.
• Evaluate suppliers based on capacity, manpower quality, rates, documentation, responsiveness, and reliability.
• Maintain preferred and backup suppliers for key manpower categories.
• Monitor supplier performance and address recurring service failures.
• Manage other operational vendors including transport, accommodation, and workforce-support providers where required.
• Ensure vendor arrangements support rapid scaling without compromising quality or cost discipline.

• Review operational processes and eliminate bottlenecks, duplication, delays, and unnecessary manual work.
• Develop practical SOPs and standardized workflows for key operational activities.
• Lead the business-side implementation and adoption of

• Ensure operational information is captured systematically rather than through fragmented spreadsheets, emails, or informal communication.
• Develop operational dashboards and management reporting.

The Operations Manager is expected to act as the

business owner of operational systems

, not as the technical developer.

• Monitor operational KPIs covering manpower deployment, mobilization, utilization, transport, camps, vendors, client issues, and service delivery.
• Identify and reduce avoidable costs arising from idle manpower, inefficient transport, excess accommodation, emergency procurement, and operational failures.
• Work closely with Recruitment, HR/Admin, Finance, Sales, HSE, Procurement, IT, and management.
• Ensure effective handovers and clear ownership where activities involve multiple departments.
• Provide management with concise reporting on operational performance, risks, exceptions, and corrective actions.
• Support business growth by ensuring Manforce can

reliably deliver and scale client manpower requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, HR, or a related discipline.
• Minimum

7 years of relevant operational experience

.

• Strong experience in manpower supply, contracting, workforce services, facilities management, construction support, industrial services, or a similar labour-intensiveenvironment.
• Demonstrated experience managing operational teams and holding people accountable for delivery.
• Experience in workforce mobilization, deployment, logistics, and site operations.
• Understanding of workforce accommodation, welfare, and transportation.
• Experience managing manpower suppliers and operational vendors.
• Demonstrated process-improvement capability.
• Practical experience with ERP or operational management systems;

Odoo experience is an advantage

• Good understanding of technology, automation, data, and AI applications in operations.
• Qatar/GCC experience is preferred.
