Role Overview
Construction Operations Manager for Kuber Construction Co. in the road construction industry.
Oversee approximately five to six road construction projects running simultaneously.
Act as the central link between project sites, operational teams, and management.
Work closely with site supervisors, engineers, operators, mechanics, transporters, and data entry staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations across multiple road construction sites and ensure progress against planned deadlines.
- Monitor planned versus actual work, identify delays and bottlenecks, and coordinate timely resolution.
- Manage machinery and manpower deployment, maintenance, breakdowns, repairs, and inter-site movement.
- Monitor diesel allocation, fuel consumption, material requirements, transportation, and site productivity.
- Follow up with site supervisors and maintain accountability for production and execution.
- Develop recovery plans, identify cost-saving opportunities, and maintain quality, safety, and project requirements.
- Provide concise operational updates to management and establish disciplined planning, reporting, follow-up, and issue-closure systems.
- Visit project sites regularly to verify execution and resolve ground-level operational issues.
Candidate Requirements
- 5–10+ years of relevant experience in road construction or infrastructure is preferred, particularly across multiple sites.
- A Diploma, B.E., or B.Tech. in Civil Engineering is preferred; strong practical experience may be considered.
- Strong practical understanding of road construction, machinery utilization, fuel management, manpower, and site productivity.
- Ability to coordinate multiple projects with different deadlines and priorities.
- Strong coordination, follow-up, problem-solving, commercial awareness, and ownership of operational issues.
- Comfort with Excel, basic operational reporting, and a field-oriented, high-responsibility role.
Compensation
- Pay starts at ₹20,000 per month.
Workplace
- Work location is in person and requires regular project-site visits.
