Role Overview
Mercon Logistics is hiring a General Manager for logistics and operations.
The role is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The position requires independent ownership of the business and its operations.
Working Hours
- Standard working hours are 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
- Urgent operational matters may require work at night or on weekends.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or fleet management.
- Fluency in English, Hindi, and Arabic is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of logistics and transportation operations is required.
- Leadership, team-management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills are required.
- Experience managing drivers, fleet, customers, and operations teams is required.
- Knowledge of the Saudi logistics and transportation sector is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Manage fleet, drivers, operations, customers, maintenance, costs, performance, and day-to-day business activities.
- Handle urgent operational matters outside normal office hours when required.
- Take full ownership of operations and manage the business independently.
