Role overview
The Operations Lead provides front-line support for warehouse production and helps ensure customer orders are delivered on time, fresh, and accurately.
The role focuses on safety, accuracy, quality control, production targets, and compliance with standard operating processes.
The work involves a refrigerated environment at approximately 36 degrees and repetitive physical activity.
What you will do
- Communicate daily goals, production targets, and safety briefings to the team.
- Delegate and distribute personnel to complete tasks and orders on time.
- Enforce quality control measures and inspect products for compliance with standards.
- Address quality deviations promptly.
- Follow standard processes, identify improvements, implement best practices, and streamline workflows.
- Coordinate inventory replenishment to prevent out-of-stock items and order shorts.
- Communicate across warehouse teams to resolve delivery issues.
- Maintain all safety standards provided by leadership.
What you have
- Experience or comfort working in a refrigerated environment at approximately 36 degrees.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to work overtime or possible weekends when needed.
- Ability to thrive in a repetitive and fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to stand, squat, kneel, and bend repetitively, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Preferred qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Bilingual English/Spanish communication is preferred.
- Experience working in a food-based environment is preferred.
