Role Overview
An energy infrastructure and midstream company is seeking an experienced Business Analyst for Operations Planning and Analysis.
The role supports financial governance, operational effectiveness, cost control, capital portfolio management, and investment planning for Midstream Operations.
Engagement Term
- Focused four-month contract engagement with potential for extension.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the capital portfolio governance framework and track actual versus forecast spend across Midstream Operations and Engineering.
- Prepare AFE documentation and ensure accurate cost allocation and maintenance capital tracking.
- Analyze data from JD Edwards, Workday, and internal databases to track KPIs, operating costs, G&A, and leadership reporting.
- Support G&A planning, workforce planning, labour allocations, operational performance monitoring, and spend trend analysis.
- Provide insights for cost optimization and support implementation of an Integrated Business Planning tool.
Qualifications and Skills
- Background in capital planning, capital portfolio management, cost control, project controls, or operations finance within an asset-intensive industry.
